Anyone recognize this Fisher wood cabinet?

I picked this very nice wood cabinet up over the past years but not sure what it will fit, it does have part of a Fisher sticker still on the bottom. The face plate opening measures 17" wide by 5-1/2" tall, the depth of the cabinet is only 11-7/8". Internal dimensions measure 4-7/8" by 16-3/4". I believe it is for a tuner or possibly an early solid state receiver. Hope someone can identify this so I can find a good home for it.

Sounds like might be for one of the 500-T/700-T units OR 500-TX/800-T. Let me dig around and see if I can come up with some dimensions.

5 minutes later.
500-TX/800T = Dimensions: 16-7/8 x 4-13/16 x 14-1/2 inches Too big for case.

I'm not sure if we have any cabinet information in any of the stickies, but thought maybe listing the cabinet sizes we know of and what they fit might be something to create down the road. :dunno:
 
Couldn't find anything on the 500-T thru 700-T real quick. I'm thinking either those or a 400-T/250-T or TX. And all of Mine are at the house in Glen Burnie.

The face plate opening is exactly the same as my X-1000, wondering if the big tuner that's supposed to go with it is that shallow (12"). It also matches the TA series face plate size.
 
It looks like one from a X-101-C that I adapted for use with my 202-R. It is a bit shy for the tuner in the front to back dimension but should be OK for some of the Fisher tube type integrated amps.

I checked the dimensions of the cabinet I used on my 202-R:
202-R face is 15 1/8" W X 4 13/16" H
Cabinet:
16 9/16" W X 5 3/4" H X 11 15/16" D external dimensions, exclusive of feet which would add about 3/4" to the overall height. Inside opening is 14 7/8" W X 4 13/16" H at the rear. My 202-R projects about another 1/4" beyond the back of the cabinet I have it in. Your cabinet is definitely larger.

I checked my Fisher 500-TX and the dimensions are same as Larry mentioned, the depth of just the rear of the steel cover on the top projects to the rear 12 1/2" measured from the face plate external surface and the extra two inches is likely for other items that project beyond that such as fuse holder cover, speaker terminals etc. Since the face dimensions are the same I would think Larry is right about a somewhat lower power unit in the Fisher line of that era might fit the cabinet rear dimension. Otherwise perhaps a cabinet for a tuner rather than an integrated receiver.

I've got the exact same cabinet but mine is missing a rear foot and the screen. I think I determined it was for a 600T as well. I'll probably post it on BT as I don't have a 600T and I'm not likely to get one anytime soon.
 
I remembered I own a TX-100 amp, just looked up the dimensions (16.73 X 5.11 X 12.4) I'm thinking that just might work.
