Someone pointed me to this seller on Amazon a few weeks ago, and I just wanted to try something different.
My first order of 4 pounder from this seller was somewhat of an experiment. Was disappointed to see that the beans were probably not the top grade, but then for the price, I wasn't expecting the top grade. Using the FreshRoast 500, I tried achieving something between light and med roast. With such a mixture of bean sizes, it was impossible to get even roast, but eventually, I was able to dial it in and got out what I wanted. Tastes like what Ethiopian coffee should taste like with much more nutty then usual.
Just ordered another 5 pound bag. Anyone tried these beans before? If so, I'd appreciate any notes on your roast settings and results. Thanks!
