Anyone using 2 Dahlquist DQ-1w subs with DQ-MX1 x-over and DQ-10's ?

I have a set of DQ-10's with one DQ-1w sub and the Dahlquist DQ-MX1 passive crossover and I would like to connect a second DQ-1w sub to this setup. I suppose I could run the single subwoofer feed to both subs, but will this present a load lower than 4 ohms to the amp? Will I have to find a DQ-LP1 electronic crossover instead to do this? Thanks in advance.

Being an old DQ 10 user for many years, I strongly recommend finding a quality powered sub with at least a 200 watt plate amp and crossover. First it will take up a lot less room, and will give you tighter, faster, and more detailed bass IMO. I own the DQ sub and the electronic crossover, so I am not guessing here.

There are other crossovers you can use. If you go to a pair of 1Ws you will need a couple channels of amp power of about 100 watts. These woofers don't want to be hit with high power but they do fine filling in some of the low end.

I have a 1W and a powered sub the powered sub goes down another 10Hz compared to the 1W and a couple of those might be the best choice.
