I had written a thread about digital jitter and how the Apogee Big Ben Master Clock greatly improves sound quality and system performance.
I'll make this review short and sweet (click on the blue link above to read about digital jitter). If you have a separate DAC, then you'll want the Apogee Big Ben Master Clock. I previously had an Audio Alchemy DTI PRO32. It was a good unit, but failed and the component that failed was proprietary and no longer available. I was bummed and didn't even want to listen to my system anymore. Then I discovered the Apogee Big Ben Master Clock. Problem Solved! Not only did I want to listen to my system again, but the Apogee Big Ben Master Clock made the Audio Alchemy DTI PRO32 look and sound inferior.
Cheers,
