Apple Music coming to Amazon Echo Dec 17th

Kind of confused by this, I am fairly stupid so that is not surprising. I use Desktop, Android (phone and Kindle) and Apple devices (phone and iPad), had to load Spotify and Tidal apps on all to use. I did not pay for any of them and my monthly subscription price is what Spotify and Tidals websites say they would be? Not sure how the extra cost for Apple comes in. I also pay directly from my bank to the service.

He is saying that Spotify isn't allowed to link you to their website from the iOS app to sign up for the service. You are allowed to do that on your own and there are no extra fees. You are welcome. The issue is somewhat confusing. I was looking for information related to the lawsuit and the link is below. They discuss the issue of Spotify and said that Spotify turned off the ability to pay in the app:

The Supreme Court hasn't ruled on the issue of whether the iOS owners had standing. However, if they do, it will just take the lawsuit to the next level of just saying they can proceed. The next step would be proving that Apple has a monopoly. This would be very strange, like I said, nearly every gaming machine in the world fits that description. It will be hard to prove that Apple has a monopoly when iOS is so small compared to Android and Android is there for anyone that doesn't want iOS.
In any event, we are a long, long way from this being decided unless the Supreme Court rules against the plaintiff. Personally, I don't think this decision to put Apple Music on Echos had anything to do with this lawsuit. It is more about Apple wanting more avenues for growing the service and wanting to play more nicely with Amazon. In a related story, Amazon also just started selling Apple's products on their website.
I just never noticed as I probably joined from their website and not the app.
Yeah I haven’t been following much of it. As long as I can watch/listen to what I want I am not to concerned with how it’s happening as long as it works.

I tested Apple Music on Echo over the weekend. I made it my default option, so it will play music without asking for the service...for the most part. I did notice that if I had an album in my Amazon music library, it would automatically default to that. I discovered that when I asked for "Come Fly With Me, by Frank Sinatra" it played Sinatra, but not the right album...it apparently mismatched some of my albums for some reason. However, if I said "play Come Fly With Me, by Frank Sinatra from Apple Music" it would play correctly. I probably need to delete Amazon as a service to get it working properly.
