AR 3 Mids and Tweeters at 24 ohms,?

Had them checked by a repair shop and this is what he stated was wrong and why it took so much power to have any sound out of the pair.

Found these at a garage sale, not out much just wanting to know if finding replacement mids and tweeters are the only way to go.

I am nothing more than interested In audio, by no means anywhere close to knowledgeable so Imput is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AK, Hoovie, and posting pics is always helpful in getting the best advice.

Thread title says AR-1's, but since that model did not have a mid driver, I'll assume you're talking about AR-3's. Not sure what the entire resistance range might be for "bad" AR drivers that are 50+ years old, but it sounds very odd that all four would measure out with identical readings. If you have real AR-3's with original drivers, I'd recommend you purchase even a very basic $10 or $20 multi-meter to test these yourself before going much further.

I will take a second set of readings, thanks and yes on the correct set is AR3

How are you measuring them? Disconnected from the circuit I assume. Just across the terminals of each driver.

Have the capacitors been replaced? Are the level adjustment pots clean and functioning correctly? I think those are 16 ohm pots so hopefully they are not in the circuit when the drivers are being measured.
