AR 11 mid driver dilema

Guys if you have experiece with AR mid driver please chime in. I was looking today AR 11, gentleman claim everything is intact and original, I was extensively testing them and they sound sublime but...My eyes stayed on mid driver, I asked about the grill which is not original who h I don't care much but the driver itself is whole gray,not white sponge style. Same shape,that's fine.

I was told that they have been changed over the years of production, I am aware since they have change tweeters,woofers but this is the first time that saw mid looking differently.Pretty much know AR very well but this is something new to me.

Been trying the whole net, classicspeakers etc. no luck so far. Guys,if you have any clue or idea if this is ( picture attached ) ok I would honestly appreciate the input since I will have to decide soon and don't want my AR modified with some other driver replacements.

Could be original, grill could have been painted. I think it will require
seeing if there's a part number on the back.

Passed them, to rich for my blood, noticed few more thing that are suspicious, didn't event want to try for that money just to found out that I am left with a can of worms...I know that mostly everything can be restored and I have the best man for that job here with more than 35 y of experience but than total sum would be :whip:

Metal net is not original as well, seller told me it broke but one have to ask himself what could cause for the metal net on the mid to be broken...I believe that someone did something nasty to this mid.Also, sealing rings on the woofer were taken off, suspension itself is not proper one...Thank for the reply and your input, passed them the same day. I know that this is not money&sense topic but for 1200 eur as is, no sense at all...
