AR-2ax Foam or Rubber Surround?

I need to re-foam my pair of AR-2ax's. I have looked at a bunch of different re-foam kits and cannot determine which would be the best for these speakers.

Has anyone refoamed their AR-2ax's using a particular brand/website to purchase the correct surrounds? How do I know if the Roll size is correct if the website does not specify it in the item description? Has anyone had great luck with a particular re-foam kit?

The AR-2ax has a flat dustcap will the sound be affected if a convex dustcap is used?

Check out a place called "Speaker World" online.

FWIW, I've been dealing with these guys for 20 years (they're local for me) and they've always done well by me.

I recently refoamed my 2ax pair and bought the surrounds from looneytune2001. I used JBL125a surrounds. I did not mess with the dustcap and usually avoid them. Instead, slowly working to insure the surround is aligned, and using a 1.5 volt battery to help center the cone, works for me.
Recommend looneytune 2001 and the JBL surround.

I like pvc or butyl rubber surrounds over foam rubber. Changing the type of surround will alter driver paramaeters. I would stick with the foam rubber.
