AR-6 speakers for $6.99

I came, I saw, I purchased...at the Good Will.
Haven't hooked them up yet- very long day today.
Did some Googling, and they are apparently highly-prized.

Also some Athena Audition Series bookshelf speakers- $19.99 at St Vincents.
Haven't even looked them up yet.
Just jazzed about the AR-6 for now.

Going to use the speaker connects to my Frazier Mark V's- unfortunately the speaker connects are pulled out and I have to hard wire everything.

Stay tuned and I will update later with speaker tests and pics...

I have a pair of AR-6's that I bought refurbished from a tech in Montana several years ago but I'm not using them at this time. They're good little speakers but to my ears my AR-4x's have a little more bass. Great find for 6.99! Congrats.

make sure the foam is intact before putting anything with a lot of bass through them

How do I get to the driver? Pop the front grills off?

Ok- got them off. And yes the foams are shot.
Drat!
