AR Speakers Model???

Just found these for sale at a yard sale. Grill sock is pulled and worn, but wood looks good. They sit on a plastic riser. The terminals are on the bottom. Small AR logo on the top of the grill. Fabric wraps all around the speaker. 3 drivers in each cabinet. Looks like 2 8" woofers and a small tweeter.
Any idea what model these are? The surrounds are intact, and they sound pretty good.

Yep, 93's only had a single woofer. They appear to have the original drivers as well. Only missing the anti-diffraction felt pieces that should be surrounding the tweeter. Those are certainly worthy of your attention and will likely profit from a recap. What did ya give for 'em?

Had to cough up $5. I know, I am a real high roller. I hooked them up in the barn to a Nakamichi AV-1, and a Yamaha cd player. Popped in a Talking Heads greatest hits cd and danced like a fool.

Nice!!! Double-check the surrounds. They may look intact yet be dry and ready to crumble. Don't run them too hard until you've thoroughly checked the surrounds. Loud and long excursions may stress them to the point of cracking. If you enjoy their sound and are thinking of keeping them, you will be pulling a woofer (from each) for a recap anyhow. You may as well pull both woofers and do a preventive replacement of their surrounds. It's cheap insurance. This is, of course, dependent on a close inspection of the current surrounds. If you can poke them with your little finger and it doesn't show-up on the back side, you may be good to go for a few more years.
