AR-XA Screw Question

I am trying to help out somebody with an XA that has a missing screw. It is the screw that holds the arm tube tight near the pivot. My XA came with an accessory package that has an extra screw in it, but I think it is the screw that holds the counter weight in place. It is brass and cone shaped. Will this screw work on the arm tube/pivot spot? If not, does anybody have any idea what size screw I need?
I would just try out the screw I have, but I don't have the table in front of me, and would be mailing the screw to the owner of the table.

Thanks!

The screw you have is as you suspect, for the counter weight and not the armtube. Which armtube? There was one with just a crease in it for the locking screw, and there was one with the crease and slot. Two different screws because of this. I have both

Thanks, marc. I'm not sure which tube it is, to be honest. I know it is the table with the vinyl-veneered base, if that helps.
I guess I'll need to ask the owner to check the arm tube, and add the screw to the order I plan on sending you.

Thanks again!

The thread size is 5-40. In the pic below the screw that Marc mentioned for the slotted arm tube is on the left. Cone shaped hex head set screws work just fine. Don't overtighten either one or you could spread the slot.

Thanks for the pics and info.
I take it that the other style of arm tube looks similar, just without the slot? I don't recall seeing a slot on the arm tube, but I didn't pull the tube out too far. I didn't want to muck it up worse, with no time to fix it.
I wish I had asked these questions week, when I could look at the table. Too busy with family get together moments, though.
