Good morning Analog users,

I have to replace my AR-XA motor, single motor drive system, where can I get the caps that go with the motor and what is there value. And is there anything I should know before attempting this repair?
Picture of the motor purchased.

Thanks,
John.:music:

lol....Well.........I would like it better if I finished putting it together. Actually I put in an order at Audioconnexion yesterday. I ordered the same haydon motor from ebay that you did. So i too need the capacitors. I also need to track down a drive pulley. The XA that I have was a dual motor with the smaller pulley shaft so I can't use one on the other. But overall it's coming along.

Hi,

Post some pics of your repair if you can, I have not started mine yet either.
I have 3 AR-XA's I use 2 out of the 3, and one of them has the bad motor.

Best TT ever for the price.

I have an AR XA two motor version as well and the same motor for replacement. T think the holes line up for the new motor. I have noticed the diffence in size in the pull, but I think it should work since the distance is the same.
