I bought a pair of AR2a’s on CL – got them home to find out that the tweeters and mid-ranges do not currently make any sound. From what I have gathered, it is probably an issue with the pots.
I am thinking to do the work on these myself as hiring someone is quite expensive. I also have an interest in doing the work – although also a bit scared to screw something up. FIRST TIMER. These are the posts that I have found thus far.

Both of these were super helpful!! @GD70 you are awesome!
Questions:
1. Is there any way that I can clean the pots without going through the trouble of getting the grills off?
2. Opinions on bypassing the pots vs. replacing? I have heard good things about bypassing them, but as a rule I am hesitant to do that sort of modification.
3. Would love to gather a list of tools and parts required before starting. I live in a very small space, and I need to start and finish this project over the course of 1-2 days.
Really appreciate the help! I have learned SO much from this group – thank you in advance!
