AR7 capacitor question

Putting this out to the knowledge folks here. I just picked up a pair of AR7 speakers in the beautiful teak cabinets. The drivers have been redone and I think the missing piece is redoing the capacitors.

My question is what is the difference between the 6.2uf 250v versus the Solens 6.2uf 400v? I'm a newbie and think I can handle switching out the caps I just want to make sure I'm putting the right ones in.

Thanks in advance for your input

No need for a 400V rated cap in a speaker that's unlikely to ever see 100V, let alone 400.

Other than that, the 400V one is bigger, but has exactly the same performance.

Lol, there seems to be a feeling that soda can sized capacitors are "sonically better" than plain little 100V ones. As far as I can tell, once you are using a film cap the only differences are the actual (rather than stated) capacitance.

So long as they are not exposed to voltages exceeding the DC rating, they are all the same.

Now, put that cap in a tube amp, you need a 400V one if the tube runs at 350V......
