I've got an Aragon 2002 downstream from an NAD 1700 and a schiit DAC, all RCA connections. Suddenly, with no prompting and with the preamp off, the speakers start making loud ungodly grounding sounds (like when you bump the tip of an interconnect with your finger). After I turned everything off I went to investigate. Even if I unplug everything from the amp, just leave the speakers and the wall, the sounds replicates the moment I turn it on. I'm not sure of a tech that would be willing to work on this in my area or if I would have the money to have him do it; but I'm pretty handy when I need to be. Any thoughts? I've done so recapping and basic part replacement but nothing diagnostic so I'm a little stuck. I'd appreciate any help.
