Arc 050

Hi, I've bought this lovely set of speakers v cheap as missing the block on the back
...The ARC 050 features a distinct external crossover block fitted into a bracket system at the bottom-rear of the speaker casing. This block can be configured in two ways:
1. Passive Mode (Single Standard Amplifier): Keep the external crossover brick firmly plugged into the bottom bracket. You then connect a single run of standard speaker wire from your amplifier's left/right speaker terminals directly into the binding posts located on that crossover block
....

The suggestion is that I can plug the bottom bracket with speaker cable straight into my trio kr3600 amp and it should be fine. Is that right? From my understanding the block simply restricted using the top as well which can be used for crossover and should not be installed directly into an amp.... The image is what seller advised which seems to suggest fine connecting with bottom terminal only

The suggestion is may need one of these things if wanted to use both terminals, could do with someone's advice really, do they plug into existing amp or is it entirely standalone. Gone down a right rabbit hole with this speaker purchase

Not really sure what you're talking about here. But you will need a crossover for them to work properly and to avoid blowing the tweeters. Hopefully you haven't done that.
