"Archer"...animated series on Netflix

...no it's not an 'elf warrior-nerdtastic-middle earth' type of show, but if you like adult violence and double-entendre launguage set in a dysfunctional family -owned office of espionage you should watch. Very, very funny!

. . . absolutely, for me anyway, the funniest animated show on television right now along with "Family Guy" and "Bob's Burgers" (the main character of Bob is also voiced by the same actor who does the main character voice for "Archer", though the two characters - and shows - are nothing like each other.)

I saw the pilot of this show when it first aired a couple years ago, but I never realized it got picked up. If it's any better than FOX cartoons I should like it again. Just the tip!

Love that show! "FX" is a quality channel.......kinda upset that they cancelled "lights out" after only 1 season though.

FX has great shows....Anything they put out is usually great....Archer, Lights Out (too bad they didnt renew it), Sons of Anarchy, Justified, The Shield, Rescue Me....love that channel

...........Justified is just one kick-ass show with sharp writing/acting/directing. It's a favorite in our little household. Fallen Skies is also shaping up nicely. (ooops, that's not on FX is it?)

There's an interesting back story on the guy that did the music for Justified too... real audio guru, open reel and overall studio genius. I met him through a gear swap and heard a little of the story. Take a listen to the music when you watch the show, that wasn't recorded in your run of the mill digital studio with someone sitting at a computer screen programming a computer with musicians hidden away in another room.
