Are Sherwood S-7310 Knobs the Same as S-7100A Knobs

OK Sherwood experts, this should be an easy one for you. Are the knobs on the S-7310 the same as those on the S-7100A?

I have a beautiful looking, and sounding, S-7100A that is missing one of the 5 smaller knobs and came across a listing for an S-7310 knob that looks the same, but want to make sure it is identical in size and appearance before purchasing.

To answer my own question, no they are not.

An eBay seller accepted my "Make an Offer" for an S-7310 knob. It recently arrived and while the external dimensions and appearance are identical, the hole for the mounting shaft on the S-7310 is not as deep as it is on the S-7100 knobs. Because this mounting hole is machined for a splined mounting shaft, there is no easy way to simply bore a deeper mounting hole.

The search continues...
