Are there different TEAC A-3440 variants?

Hey folks! First post here. I’m looking at purchasing my first reel to reel and realizing the TEAC A-3440 I was planning on checking out says “Multitrack Series” on the face plate. I also see models marked “four channel SIMUL-SYNC”. Does the model im looking at not have simul-sync/the ability to hear other tracks while recording? Thanks in advance!! Was surprised how hard it was to find an explanation online.

This explains Simul-Sync on the A-3440 (From the A-3440 Owner's Manual). Looks like when adding tracks, you can play existing tracks using the record head to keep new tracks in-sync.

Thanks for the reply! Ya from that and the manual I found it looks safe to say the rec head can playback as well, was thrown off by the differing faceplates. There seems to be zero info online differentiating them.
