Are These JBL 26's?

Hello! I’m new to posting on AK. Thanks for the advice you all give through these threads. Based on what I’ve recently learned on AK, I’m picking up an HK 430 and a Luxman r-150 receiver this weekend (to go along with my Sanyo TP1010) - all in great condition at amazing prices. I can’t wait.

So yesterday, I picked up what was listed on CL as JBL-L26’s for $50 from a nice older couple. The 26’s are in great condition, but what I failed to realize was that there wasn’t a single label on either speaker. When I double-checked online to compare the look of my speaker to the L26’s, it didn’t match up. Can you all please help me identify this speaker? (dimensions are 18 x 11.5 x 10.5) And any other thoughts or advice you can give me in terms of pairing components with speakers, I’d really appreciate it!

Those are poop, and I know JBLs.

(Don't know what you got but those aren't JBLs.)

I'd suggest you remove the drivers and see if they offer any clues on their backsides.

This is an L26:

Welcome to AK, Those are not JBL's, but they will give something to listen to, until you find some. Always look up what you are attempting to by, so you have a reference picture, specs or review.
