Yes !

I have a pair and they are giant killers when you feed them some power ( 100 watts +)

I recently read and another post that these are a Henry Kloss design

Those are supposed to be really good. They're worth more than $100, but would probably not be an easy flip, if that's what you're looking for.

Yes those are the 225's I have the AS 125's at the fest. EastPoint is right if you are looking to flip no one will give you $50 for them because they have a Sylvania badge.

If you want a sleeper... let the jaws drop when you rebuild the crossovers and drive them properly, these were designed for Sylvania by Henry Kloss.

If you do not want them please let me know where I can purchase them, looking to build a system for my nephew.

With the right amplification you do not need 100 watt's. 60 watts tube sound awesome, 80 watts Class A you will not need anymore.

Yes maybe that was an exaggeration.
These speakers were not very impressive until I powered them with a big Soundcraftsmen amp and then whoa ! In hindsight I was probably only pushing 20 Watts.

OK Thanks so much guy's. I called and I am going to get them when the guy gets out of work. I will make sure they are working correctly and let you guy's know what I think. Thanks again. Tom.

OK, I just didn't care for the way they sounded so I didn't buy them. They are in decent shape for their age for sure and all the drivers were working fine and the freq controls seemed to work fine also. The cabs are 7 out of 10 and could use some tlc.

Most speakers don't sound good on the floor, gets boomy and the mid and tweeters would be aimed at your knees. Plus the crossover caps would all need replacement at this point so the recommendation of rebuilding the crossovers is important. The Alnico dome tweeters are supposed to be pretty nice, sourced from Long Engineering.

But the OP has a point in that if they don't sound good to you, it's hard to consider buying them with low resale value unless you're in for a project or experiments.
