You've been 38 since your early 20s? :)

I'm old, grey, balding and while the head hairs are not showing much life, the ear, eyebrows and nasal hair follicles have kicked in. I trim them out each week. If I don't I can expect a sharp sting of pain as my wife grabs an errant hair and pulls it.

Keeping these wayward hairs at bay not only makes me look better (well, as better as an old guy can be - it's very subjective) but also limits the hit/run hair-pulling tactics of the wife. :)

I've been involved with endurance sports since I was in High School. Most Swimmers shaved everything. Many Cyclists shave legs and arms in the event of a crash and they get road rash, you don't want hair engaging the wounds. Look at the Tour De France Athletes and you'll see no arm or leg hair.

Yet I never subscribed to this. No shaving of legs or arms in my house. Ear, nose and eyebrow hair? Yes. Gotta' keep it neat for the ladies.

When I lived in France, most of my friends shaved every body hair everywhere. Totally. It was the thing to do.

I've got enough hair on my chest and stomach you could lose loose change, keys, small pets, etc. in it

About a year a go I got brave and decided to shear the area.

I work out regularly, have good lean muscle mass and great definition. Getting rid of the old salt and pepper (mostly salt) carpet covering the hardware made me look 30 years younger from the neck down. Now my body looks better than most guys in their 20's.

I should have done this 20 years ago!

I think it's well past time we all stopped talking about shaving nards. Ya freaks.

If the "nards" is the only area you want to think about, so be it. But what about the back, the grey old looking chest and arms. Not to mention the ears, nose and eyebrows. Really it's not all about nards.
