Ariston rd-50 on local CL

One available locally for $175. Enigma tone-arm made by Jelco, Pickering cart. I don't know much about these tt's but have a generally positive impression and the arm seems legit. Anyone have any info? Does that seem like a good deal?

I've had one for a few decades. It's been a very good table, with excellent speed consistency & striking looks. The suspension is a bit fiddly, but once set up right, it stays set up quite a while. I wasn't too fond of the Enigma arm (a really short design), and after a few years it developed a hum, so I replaced mine with an old SME 3009.

$175 is WELL below market price, and a steal IMO.
 
Thanks for the info - what didn't you like about the arm? Seems like a quality arm for a table in this category.
