Recently got a Aristona SR4299 R2R which is the same as Philips N7300 so we will continue this as Philips N7300
Quit a long time hasn't been used, and very dusty inside, but i did my best to clean the whole thing, at the moment the power is on, all buttons works ok, but the pickup motor is not doing anything, capstan runs ok, rubber wheel doing its job to send the tape to the pickup motor, but the pickup motor which is the right hand side is not running, i noticed one little plastic part was broken into half when i open the back case which connect the two parts which red circled it in the photo, part number 298 on service manual (Dutch version on Hifiengine) , not sure if that has anything to do with it, once i push the play button i can hear the motor sound but the tape is just not running, if i hit rewind button it is rewinding but can't be stopped by push the stop button, you have to force it to stop by powering it off or wait untill it's done, but fast forward is not doing anything at all, i tested the pickup motor voltage when i hit play and it reads -22v which is bit strange or maybe it is suppose to be -22v, anyway anyone can help me with this?
