Arlond Or Stallone Question

Theophilus Punoval

The Queen says it's OK...
This isn't a question about who's better.

I saw "Total Recall" and a Rambo movie yesterday (I felt like selling my eyes) and was wondering who grunted in pain more, Sylvester Stallone or Arnold?

I'm guessing Arnold.

Sorry for the typo in the title.

Just so you know, I was just acting.

-Arnold

:lmao:

Gee, Arnold, I thought you'd say you were jus' aaahcting!

(The funniest punch line of all will be when we discover that Kara Kutt REALLY IS the Governator, hiding behind an online moniker!)

Ahhnnuuulds flicks are much more entertaining...and a few of them (Predator, Terminator 1 + 2) are excellent movies by any measure.

Total Recall is a very good movie; dealing with serious issues re the mind. When is reality real? How do we know whether we are dreaming? When is sweat, sweat? Arnold did a very good job. Ironically the movie is not appreciated as much as it should be, because Arnold is the star.

It's biggest drawback is the director's reputation. His films have a distinct sleaze factor...rubs some people the wrong way.

Here's what I think;

Dolph Lundgren is the poor mans Jean Claude van Damme, who is the poor mans Stallone, who is the poor mans Schwarzenegger.

Arnold has been in some seriously great movies ("predator" comes to mind). Been in some "junk" too, but not nearly as bad as Stallone ("Stop or my mom will shoot"?, really?).Let's not even get into Van Damme:rolleyes:.

supposedly Stallone is directing/starring in a new movie he wrote, it sounds like it's going to be fantastically awful...I hope they make it to be a parody.

Do you mean "The Expendables"? (link to new trailer that just got released)

"The Expendables" features Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and Mickey Rourke.

Oh yes....a couple of guys named Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger are also in the movie (see trailer in link). Jean-Claude van Damme, Steven Seagal, Wesley Snipes and Kurt Russell were all offered roles but declined. Sandra Bullock was also rumored to have been offered a role. The late Brittany Murphy was in the movie but her role was cut out of the final film (maybe on the DVD and Blu-ray?)

Sorry, no Chuck Norris :D

YES!:D, that's the one. I don't know anyone who could look at that and not think non-stop action. Shame that Steven Seagal wouldn't take a role, as he would fill the set nicely of stock action stars, along with Jean-claude van damme.

If only chuck norris were involved:sigh::D

Man....

I almost want to see that one...

Bruce Willis and Arnold doing Cameos!!!??? I gotta see it just for that!!!!!

Well, at least rent it!

Worf

Generally, I enjoy thoughtful, smart pictures. They're what I prefer to spend my money on. But... Every so often, I like to watch (and really enjoy) something big, loud and stupid. I think I've just found this year's big, loud and stupid.

Hey, I appreciate that. But you should check out my favorite movie, both on and off the screen - Conan the Barbarian. It was casted perfectly, if I do say so myself. I must admit that my accent was pretty think and it helped that I didn't have to many lines. Again, casted perfectly. James as Thulsa Doom and Mako as the wizard, Gerry Lopez made the perfect Subotai even my close friend Franco was in it as the scout. Not to mention Sven who is not only a fellow bodybuilder but has accompanied me in many of my movies. Great Cast, great people and great friends.
