Assorted tape players worth anything?

What do you think of my deal? Has my addiction jumped the shark? These were advertised on CL. Owner wanted to trade for just about anything. I gave him an old Antec PC, an old HP DVD writer, a few old cell phones and a few computer cables. Here's the list:

Reel to reel deck looks like a keeper. If you are not into 8 tracks, see if they work, clean them up a bit and flip them on ebay.

IIRC Roberts and Lafayette built pretty good gear. Granted some of it looks pretty rough, but there may be something there to salvage. I have picked up some pretty rough looking gear in my time, and with a few spare parts, good cleaning a possibly a case rebuild, most of them turned pretty nice.

I think you need to hook up all of the 8 track players simultaneously, then play them in such a manner that the channel beeps play the 1812 Overture.

That RtR looks like a keeper.

Add another $130 to the total. The Australian couple bought 3 more QP-444s (not NIB). Apparently in South Australia there's a demand for this model because it fits a certain car or cars. According to my buyers, people even buy the non-working models to display at home.

BTW, they're looking for AC/DC 8-tracks too. :guitar:
