At a crossroads. Leaving the hobby?

The main gripe with pursuing this hobby now is that prices are exorbitant...in 5 years the same gear has gone from very affordable to unaffordable. I mean ri-di-culous. It's better to leave when I still got money in hand!!

Not leaving the hobbly but... I may have to 'sell everything off' (or give it away) because I can't take it overseas to Asia with me. :dunno: Won't fit in the luggage.

Hopefully, I can find a shipping company that does 10' or 20' shipping containers, door-to-door -- at a reasonable/realistic price.

I can 'box up' (large shipping boxes) and ship ALL of my LPs & CDs without a problem ~ $330. But the boxes are handled 'roughly in transit', which is understandable, it sure ain't no 'joy ride', so just pack it well.

I don't think the stereo equipment would make it. :dunno: Just buy 'new' on the other end I guess, nothing special, just a good-sounding rig. I'd be O-U-T of the 'Sansui collection business', MY MUSIC PASSION, and that's a SUPER Bummer.

My 2 guitars & 3 music amps go too. Just keep one hollow body '67 Gibson L-50 and take it on the jet with me I guess (cost ?), and even that is questionable.

I need a real shipping company for sure.

 Does anyone have any ideas or experience shipping volume internationally???
