Pal, I'm trying to help here, wanna get this fixed or wanna talk bad luck? As a rule of thumb, any product that says "professional" just isn't. It's marketing. Professionals don't need "professional" labels on their gear or anyone telling them what's professional. You DJ'd an SL-1200 so you must be aware of the difference - right? Does it even feel the same? If you wanna keep your AT live and well for long, I just suggest you use the break or the stop button between spinning at 78 RPM's and going back to 45 or 33. Yes, it's very unprofessional but what do you prefer? A spinning turntable or a professional door stopper? Really, what do you expect AT to tell you when a pilot lamp burns a few months from new? It's probably a LED rather than incandescent and should even last longer. I'm with you! I totally agree it's quality issues, or rather the lack thereof and lack of due quality control. It's a shame really, but that's economy and you should know you get what you pay for. Sorry.
