I bought this locally from a guy who also happened to have a ps audio IV pre-amp with it (score) Anyways, I have found absolutely no information about this amplifier and I was hoping that maybe someone here knew who made them or anything. In the pictures you will see one channel is missing, we are working on it since it was blown. So, any information would be greatly appreciated, it appears to have been put together using standard parts, nothing too special. Here Is a few pictures if I can get this to work properly.

That is kind of what I thought too... Just would have been nice to know who might have been the manufacturer of it since there is no writing or badges ANYWHERE except the atl-500 on the front. It baffles me. Maybe someone will know eventually :)

so besides thinking/knowing this is a kit no one might know who the manufacturer is? That's all I am really looking for. It's bugging the heck out of me for the sheer fact that no information can be found about this. :(

There was an article in Radio Electronics on building this amp. I built one into a Heathkit AA-1800 Enclosure. Worked well for a couple years, but was unable to keep it working after that. The way the mosfets are configured, they have to be matched closely. Need to add some gate ferrite beads, and low value drain (source?) resistors.
