so I ma lurking heer for a while and as I understand the order in performance amongst the more common TTs is 412 then the 440 (412 being better) - is that correct?
I am not even thinking about these sevral tghousand rare TTs which are sitting on ebay for months...

That thing is enormous. Anything that makes one of those Ashland motors look small is...huge.

I think it has to be a 16" platter. Look at the Ashland motor in the underside photos, then look at the underside of a 411H or a Rek-O-Kut B12H. That motor is gigantic, and the 750 makes it look like a Papst.
