Attention southern California Akr's good Pioneer stuff on CL

If you add up the usual selling prices of those units separately, it would total more than the asking price. The speakers alone have sometimes sold for that total. It's a good deal, even if not a big "scroe". If I were going after it, I'd still try to talk them down a little, maybe offering $300 to see how they'd respond, but that's a nice system as-is, and worth that price. The HPMs seem to sound their best when matched up with big Pioneer receivers.

Someone should get that set, whether for their main system or a secondary one. Make sure it's in good shape, and enjoy the music! :music:
 
PL-530 for $250?
HPM100s for $400?
If that's the case I did rather well in my purchase recently of a PL-530 in very good cond. for $40 and a pair of HPM-100s (200 watt version) in very good cond for $200 and a SX-1050 now in near mint cond for $200.

I hope an AK'r picks that stuff up.:yes:

Well yes, you did do rather well.
 
Whoever picks that set up is going to be very pleased. The HPM-100s are fantastic speakers especially paired with a Pioneer unit or even audiophile gear. (Yes, I have heard them paired with audiophile seperates)
That PL-530 TT is a sleeper. Stick a really good cart on it and it's a rather nice TT. I can hardly wait to get a cart for mine.
