Well as a "Relic" that is as good as you get. That price is way way lower than typical.

Someone is going to get one hell of a cassette deck should they get this.

And one hell of a deal.

$450 for any tape deck is a waste of $450 but that's my opinion. I have not used a deck in any of my systems in 3 decades or so.
 
Yeah, come to think of it I agree that $450 for any deck is overkill and while tempting just to own a Dragon I probably would decide against buying it for that amount of bread. (I understand they command that kind of money and even though we really don't know why I have no problem with it because it's up to me alone when I purchase anything).
That said, though even though I have not played a tape in years myself I will be soon when I get my systems together. It's all part of the love for vintage audio I have and I have no issues getting back into some tapes. I still have some too. I'm also going to explore the world of R2R.
