AU-417 restoration

Hi, I am rebuilding a AU-417. This is my first restoration. I already cleaned up the glue, changed all EC except the bipolar ones and the two mains. Im still waiting for them to be delivered. I also want to change the relay, pots, MV-12 and Zeners as suggested by AK member AUD101. Does anyone have a parts list for that? I'm having a hard time finding replacement part number. I get my parts from Mouser.

Parts needed:

F2673: D01, 02 ( from the research i did on the forums, 2 X 1N4148 in serie) please confirm.

F-2723: D01, 02, 03, 04 Same thing

F2721 and F2722: ZD01, 02 cant find equivalent to EQA01-22R, also need VR01 and VR03.

Speaker relay

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Correct - :thmbsp:

Zener ---> EQA01-22 [22V 0.5W] - 1N5251B or TZX22B-TR
VR01 ---> 100R - Bourns 3296P (Multiturn) or Bourns 3386H (Single Turn) ???
VR03 ---> 1k - Bourns 3296P (Multiturn) or Bourns 3386H (Single Turn) ???
Hope AK members can confirm that the Single Turn Bourns Trimmers are the correct types

Speaker relay ---> Omron MY4-02 DC24 - PCB 4PDT 24VDC 3A

Don't forget to change all fuse resistors (if you have not already) ---> AU-417 Fuse Resistors

yep, single turn trimmers look right to me. (Mouser picture on website with part is generic - look at data-sheet)

Thanks for the quick reply and the very good info's ;). I did replace all fuse resistors on the head amp pcb and power amps pcbs. I am not aware of which resistors to change on the power supply board. I guess i will go with multi turn pots, i think they are easier to adjust and more precise (any pros and cons?). Do i need to measure the resistance on the pots I will remove? I don't want to blow something because the DC output or bias is way out when I first power up the amp.

Thanks again for the help, its very appreciated. If my questions need to be clarified please tell me. English is not my main language.

Another question for this restoration: can i safely replace the 10000uf 56V with 12000uf 80V? The ones I ordered are BO untill june. I want to finish this project. I will keep the two 10000uf for a future project. Thanks again
