AU-5900 no speaker output

Greetings to you all.
I own a sansui au-5900 that was working great.
But, some problems started with the right channel of phono-1 (no output on speakers, phones and pre-out).
Then the problem expanded in no output to the speakers for both channels and for any input.
The thing is that using the pre-out output and another amp, works fine except the phono-1 that still has no right output. Also. if I turn the volume full up, i can hear a little distorted sound of the input, but like I am on wrong input channel.
I have already check the four fuses, and seems ok.
Has anyone any idea what to check or what is going on?

If your AU-5900 has never been worked on, then it is well overdue for a full reconditioning, this is part of vintage audio ownership I am afraid. Do you have any electronics knowledge? - if not then you should find a tech who is 'vintage audio aware' and can deal with the issues you are seeing.

Please indicate where you are, there may be a nearby AK'er who could look at this for you.

Thank you very much for the quick responce.
About the electronic knowledge, I assume, I am in the very basic level, thats why I am asking for help.
I thought that maybe is a known issue and with some parts replacement it would work back again.
I don't think that in Crete, Greece there is an AK'er, specialised in vintage audio equipment but I have to trust some electronics-guy...
There have been some years, about 12 if I can remember well, that the amp had been worked on... and the 'specialist' was like: 'ahhh... I changed some tranzistors ...ahhh 50 euros please...' and nothing much of a sound change... he was excellent though in volume copper heads cleaning. No 'scratches' in turning the volume up...
Anyway. Can I check, meter, any parts that would probably have been burned out, anything that I could do myself?
