: Sure? It might be but not necessarily so. This is audio. I have a Au919 and I will say without doubt this Sansui was seriously built and from my gleanings of Sansui History had the affections and efforts of some of the brightest in the Company.

Gonna be tough to raise the Luxman Flag on the Sansui forum.

I'd take the Lux, LRS integrated from 79 (DMLs replaced of course) or the 505 as that amp number has been used for years.

But then I have a stack of Lux gear and

 have sold the Sansui units I had

, one being a 331 so we didn't expect that to stay forever.

Almost finished recapping a 719 so we'll see if it is all these Sansui fans are talking about. Since the 719 is no 919, send em your 919 for a nice long term evaluation and I can include our opinions of that unit also.
