These units are too nice to be the practice material that they were originally purchased for. Two notes of disclosure - Left channel is slightly weaker (80 db vs 90 db) on my meager measuring equipment. I only used them to drive my floor standing speaks which due to placement required the balance knob to lean left anyway. Discovered the imbalance when recapping some bookshelf speaks that were equally placed. The left negative A speaker terminal is finicky. Since I only played 1 set of speakers I used the B set. The speaker receptacles were obviously designed to handle smaller diameter wire. I used capacitor leads for the last 1".

I have the original Owners Manuals and sales literature for both dated 1977. Even with issues I would still rate these 9/10. Has alot of features for an 18 w/channel unit. If you need more pics let me know.

These units would be staying but they are too small for my stack and kind of "odd man out".

My wife and I are celebrating our 18th anniversary today so we would like to start the bidding at $29 for both units and finish at 11:59 PM Eastern on December 5.

Long overdue bump for these units. They sound as nice as they look. Don't think you will find a better looking set especially approaching 40 years old! Made to RD's exacting specs and the accompanying literature is a unique look into the marketing minds of the time. Ends Midnight on Saturday. I'd be happy to answer any questions in this post.

Thanks mfhale for the opening bid! Love the avatar! Our oldest gave her mom and I a small version of that lamp a few years ago for Christmas and we still use it daily.

mfhale - We have a winner! Please pay the Grumpies. PM me your address and they'll be on their way. Thanks and enjoy them.

I'd heard that these may have been made by Sansui! If so, nice score. I'd love to hear what the new owner thinks of them.
