Audio Classics in NY for non Mcintosh gear

In the Mcintosh forum they get high marks from people that have used them for Mcintosh gear. Has anyone used them for non mcintosh gear? Happy with their service? I know that on their site they do have other gear for sale. Just curious. Thanks. Norm

I bought my Marantz blu ray player (new) from them in 2013. I’m pretty happy. It’s a bit more of a drive for me now, but if they had something I wanted that I couldn’t get locally, I’d buy from them again.
 
I live about an hour away from Audio Classics. Over the past 15 years or so I've purchased many used items from them, all in great condition and at excellent prices. I once got a mint pair of Klipsch Heresy III in cherry in their boxes for $1,000. You couldn't tell them from new.

I used to enjoy going in there and chatting with Ernie for about an hour, whether I made a purchase or not. I haven't been there in a few years so I'm not sure if he's still there or not.
 
They sell a lot of other stuff, too. ARC, marantz and Yamaha, there is a top class Japanese brand too, as I remember. Special order VPI turntables, but have a few around, they also have other TT's. But their widest choice is in loudspeakers. B&W, Klipsch, Legacy, Magneplanar, special order JBL, and of course the pre-owned Mac speakers which I prefer over the new ones designed by. Sonus Fabre. Just go to their website and shop under the brands heading.
 
I called them to see if they would work on a Kenwood L07 C MKii preamp and they said they don't work on Kenwood. Norm
