ok, actually I think it is from Bulgaria. I have no idea how to build up a list and make sure I get the correct parts, this seemed like a good way if they are selling good parts and they are correct.
 
I have a CA-710 cap kit from this guy, shipping took a very long time to Canada and it did not include the power filter caps, I questioned it becasue it states all caps, the reply was that I could order one and they would send me 2 as a good gesture. Well I only got one cap, and took forever again, so I complained and they sent the second cap, that took forever as well. What was originally ordered in Nov 2018 arrived in Feb 2019, the first power cap came in May the second in Aug. They appear to be legitimate caps Nichicon FG etc.

It’s easier than you think. Open up the amp. Start at one end, note capacitance and voltage. Also note if it is polar (-ve stripe) or bipolar (no stripe or polarity markings). Most are in pairs, one for each channel.
Now MY preference is to go on Digikey, and order Elena Silmic II caps for polar caps. They seem to have a larger range of voltages and sizes uf wise. As for filter caps, depends on the amp, as size and lead layout come into consideration.
Just ask here for recommendations. Easy peasy.

OK Relish, I will open up my CA-610 this coming weekend and start with the power supply end and see how far I get. I think I will need a magnifying glass for this.
 
1) get unit
2) decide you are qualified to do a cap replacement because everyone does it on AK
3) decide you want to recap your unit
4) get the SM from the usual sources, hifiengine or wherever
5) SEARCH AK FOR A CAP LIST FOR YOUR UNIT
6) get the unit on the bench and make a cap list of what is in there
7) compare what you have to see if you missed something or work has been done
8) if you make a great cap list, unit, board, cap number, installed cap value, SM cap value if different and choice of cap and post it someone will look it over for you
9) import your cap list into Mouser and see what is back ordered, you don't want back orders from Mouser. Select a different cap
10) place order and plug in the soldering iron and wait. Mouser is molasses slow shipping to me. but they are working on it.
11) replace caps exactly as the ones you took out or you will be calling us for help.

Probably missed a bunch of steps but you get the idea and can save some money, get the right parts and have parts shipped from a location in the US for this instead of a shipment from Bulgaria.

Thank you Blue Shadow, actually I have 12 units here, One of them is a CR-620, I had already planned to use that thread, I keep that unit down in my house in florida. I work in Maryland where I have a CA-610, the only parts list I have found has been MR Relish (MonkeyRelish). However he did not do a full recap. nevertheless, I did order 3 of the main caps as they appear to be the same for both units. Perhaps the other parts will be similar. I will go through and start working on my list and compare it to the CR-620 list just for guidance. I have since done a full recap, and actually uprated the filter caps to the next uf size. I also replaced any caps in the signal path with WIMA MKS 2. To be honest, I didn’t notice any difference after just replacing the electrolytics. I replaced them as insurance for future reliability. Changing the op amps to OPA604’s made the biggest difference, followed by the WIMA’s, which made a slight difference, but in combination made it such a sweet amp to listen to.

A bit more advice, mark all caps with a dot at the top facing the front of the amp. This way, when you remove a cap, you can see at a glance which way it was facing, and which way the new cap goes in. The board shows this well. Then double check polarity again. Then double check you have the same size , voltage. Be very methodical and you can’t go wrong. Scrutinise your soldering. Do a few caps at a time, then stop and test the amp, so if something is wrong, you know where to look.

I bought a capacitor kit at audio high store in April of this year and I never received it. I complained and got no response. I asked for a refund of the amount paid and no response. They are not serious, be careful.

Yes I had the same experience. Even if I initially asked for a tracking or part. Its been 2 months now and nothing. So I went ahead and filed a claim on visa international for charge reversal.

In regards to Audio High Fi Store that didn't sent my package.
I filed a claim on the debit card through my bank. Surprisingly I got my money back. It took a while but bottom line is I got it and I'm thankful better than none. Just to let you guys know.
 
I am having similar issues. Ordered a recap kit for a Marantz 1535ML on 7th Sept. Got a message to save the order was shipped on 12th September but nothing delivered. Have sent a couple of chase ups and got an apologetic reply about ongoing problems with shipping. Will probably give it another couple of weeks and go for a card refund if nothing turns up.

if you didn't use paypal, the longer you wait the less chance you'll get your money back.

Good point thanks. Luckily I did use PayPal on this occasion as I had read on here about a few people having problems. The convenience of getting everything in one package was so tempting that I gave it a try, but I think I will revert to making my own list and using Mouser or Digi-Key in future.
 
I have not done the math on any of these 'complete cap rebuild" kits, but my hunch is one would pay perhaps double the cost of purchasing the same brands and values oneself. Of course, it can take a few hours to examine each cap and confirm via the SM, what needs to be ordered. Then finding each part in Mouser or DigiKey, and placing the order. These days, it's almost certain at least one cap will be back-ordered (for months sometimes). Ordering a kit saves a lot of time-it could be worth it for some folks.

I am beginning to build a supply of common cap and transistors by ordering 10 or 20, even though I only need 2, as signal transistors and small caps still sell for less than a buck.

I also accept that no matter how careful I am in building a list, I will miss something-it's just par for the course.
 
If the capacitor size and numbers does matters and particularly more than 25, I'll be buying a kit even if I prefer getting it individually.
But if you have the time, it should be okay.
