I just ran across this VERY intriguing article in French Vintage HiFi. I came about this in a round about way.
I had started a thread for Mordaunt-Short Speakers a while back. In there, I had alluded to the early MS-700 & MS-737 design that used the Decca London Horn.
I knew of the Decca AL-2000 and AL-1500 designed by a Frenchman named Jean-Claude Fourrière.
I guess what I didn't fully realize is how prolific Jean-Claude was after he had completed the designs for Decca. He went on to work with cabinet maker Jean-Paul Guy (of Focal Grande Utopia fame) in building speakers under the Audio Reference brand!
Really not much out there on the internet about these. Has anyone heard the Audio Reference Speakers? They look incredibly well designed and built!
