Does anyone know where I can find ARC replacement AM-6 modulars . I have a SP4 that I hate to let turn to trash but is useless because the modular is bad .

These modules have moved a number of ARC products to doorstop duty over the years. I believe I have read about one work around that was done by someone that knows his way around gear. Without this knowledge or help from those that know, your best bet is to find a few on the bay. Not seen often but they have been there. Good Luck.

I have had a couple of ARC preamps - loved the way they sounded but have not liked their tendency to keep upgrades, etc, held close to their chest. Those black-box type of modules don't send a comfortable feeling my way for the same reason.
Agreed, if you want to own one, grab some parts units. You'll need them some day, it appears.

Thanks guys . I believe I found a pair of ar-6s . And as far as 5s or 4s go I'll keep looking . I was told by the local repair man he believes it is the 6 . If you by chance come across any keep keep me in mind !
