If you're looking for used gear and make it down to Williamsburg Action Electronics usually has some decent stuff. I wouldn't make a special trip. Not sure about Richmond.

It's been a good while since I've been to Richmond, but Audio Exchange is a big one. A nice high end shop. Probably one of the last true stereo stores in Richmond. Most of the rest are home A/V, or car installers.

This. My friend has been doing business with Audio Exchange for years. Last time I checked Audio Art still existed as an appointment-only place and might be worth a phone call.

Come to think of it, I bought a pair of B&W 602s at Audio Exchange about 15 years ago.
