I bought this table over my LP120 for I'm disabled and loved the fact it had a real weight on it I could adjust to the type of needle I may use on it, and really love the fact unlike my other table it is fully automatic. My problem is I bought it 99% of the time for the automatic feature, so it will limit me having to get up and down to rest the arm unlike my fully manual LP120, I decided to give to my son, but no matter how I set the needle on it, it always drops a hair to far out, and falls off the outer edge of ALL my records. I have googled, and youtubed trying to see if there is another adjustment I am missing to set this correctly, so I can just hit the start button, and not worry its going to fall off my record ruining my needle, but I am resorting to making my first post here to see if someone can point me in the correct direction to fix this problem. It is too late for me to return it, and I want to buy a Ortofon red needle for it, but not till I can get it to start right on my records.
So anyone out there that has one can tell me before I decide to open it up and maybe ruin it completely trying to see if there is something worth me trying to do this?
Also anyone else want to try and talk me out of the Ortofon Red needle for something else around the $100 mark that may be better for me to research on?
