Hi--I am a new member and hope this is the right place to post this.

Just bought a garrard dd75 from original owner in VG+ condition. Yes usual issues but overall working well.
Came with a an Audio Technica cart which I do not recognize and I can't see any numbers on it.

Attach a couple of photos. Anybody know what this is...........

Thanks

My first impression is it looks a lot like my AT13. I think a pic from the side might help, too. Body down by the stylus looks pretty corroded? maybe.

Here is side view.

Plays very nicely--just trying to figure it out!!!

Number is on top of the cartridge but with the ability to have a flip down stylus cover it looks to be a version of the AT 13Ea. Sp gusten got it right.

I'd agree with AT13ea. I have one and it's a great cartridge, but OEM AT stylus are getting hard to find at a reasonable price, so mine's been traded out for something newer. I've tried a few of the aftermarket styluses and none of them have sounded anywhere close to as good as the original.

Thanks very much--the inability of removing the head shell to properly identify it was the problem.

You saved me the trouble. Will do some research on it.

Any idea on TF --I have it set at 1.5G and it seems to track well.
This table has an auto stop--which works but it does not lift the tonearm off of the record.

Thanks again.

1.5 is right about where it should be from what I remember -- I think the range was up to 1.5 but I'm not 100% certain. Believe it's fairly high compliance as well. Really great sounding cart overall, one of my first "nice" ones.

Vinyl engine has the spec sheets for this line the 13Ea tracks at 1-2 grams. Go at least 1.5 for best results.

I don't think that's quite right -- I remember it being sub 2.0g max, either 1.5 or 1.75 with the OEM stylus (aftermarket was a little different as I recall), but it probably wouldn't make a huge difference regardless.
