I have had a couple of transactions recently with Don. He is always such a pleasure and is so full of karma.
In the first transaction we traded tubes and that went without a hitch. For some reason he thought he needed to ship something extra to even the deal. Knowing that he is a Fisher guy I wondered if he had a spare AM loop-stick to replace one that was missing on a Fisher receiver I had sold to another AKer. Don looked around, sent a pic of something that would work, then shipped a whole SS receiver connected to it! I still owe him the added shipping on that deal too.
During the course of that first transaction I had come to know Don a little as we swapped information on some of our equipment. In the exchange it turned out that we both had partial sets of Craftsmen 500 tube amps that we would like to get working.
In the second deal he purchased a Craftsmen 500 amp that I had picked up earlier from byoungman1 to replace my defunct one (Bryce is a class act BTW - thank you Bryce!). However I was able to repair the bad unit and pass this one on to Don. If you do a search for audiodon in the feedback forum you will get pages of positive reviews. From my experience, they are well deserved; working with Don is effortless - such a treat and highly recommended.
