Audiodon = The Man

I figured out that I wanted to get a Fisher 500-c, and that I needed to find one that was rebuilt. I am just getting into the hobby, and this was going to be my first vintage tube receiver purchase, so I didn't want to be messing around.

I posted in BT and got a bunch of replies. One was from Audiodon. He ended up selling me what really amounted to his baby - his 500c that he had totally rebuilt and planned on keeping for life, but was selling as he had some other audio needs. Who hasn't been there.

My experience with Don was that it was a first-rate, high-end, awesome sale. He took time to talk me through things on the phone, included his tube testing notes, packed the receiver professionally, and just overall went above and beyond what I would have expected.

If you are in the same boat as me, just starting out, I would highly recommend buying stuff from Don. If you are an old pro, know that you are buying from another old pro, and buy with confidence.
