The Rabco SL-8E was back in 1970 when I owned one
ahead of its time. Wish I still had it. The Slindee mod was the best mod. Does anybody have the
Slindee mod? Is Dean Slindee no longer interested
in audio?

Hi Logic6 and everybody else here,

Maybe I have a Slindee. That is what I am trying to find out.

I bought three disassembled Rabco SL8-E. One may be a Slindee. It has a rather thing wooden arm wand that resebles the one shown on Sound Foutain (Rabco page) next to a text about Slindee. Mine has several difference from the original arm. The adjustment of the movement of the carriage and the lifting action is controlled by a some photo electric mechanism. Most of the screws are made by plastic. The top part is also made out of some plastic instead of the standard aluminium. Finally the chain is replaced by a rubber belt. As it is in parts I am most anxious to find the circuitry for the arm.

Any ideas where to look?
