I am making this forum to compile technical information and know how on Audire amplifiers for troubleshooting and repairs/rebuilds. I have an audire forte that has issues after being fully serviced a month ago. I’m hoping the right techs come across this forum to pour their experiences and expertise in and keep this forum alive long term unlike the audire components thread that seems half dead.

True also -mv on output ain’t good is it? My adcom is straight 0.0 plugged in and off. My audire? -119mv... both channels about the same (plugged in and off). Power on the audire goes to -1v on both channels then goes to about 20mv on both channels. Turning off. It jumps to -1v and hovers to -119 mv again.

How long does it take to go to 20mv ? 20mv of DC offset is no problem. Who cares what the DC offset is in the off position. It's just your power supply caps bleeding off without a protect relay.

The MPQ DIP transistor array parts (MPQ6600 IIRC) likely need to be replaced to solve the offset issue. These are used for the dual differential input part. You either need a NOS part, maybe a Central part if they make it, or with discrete transistors. It may improve the turn on thump as well.

It is takes 3 minutes to settle at the 20 mv point.
