Hello All,

I just purchased the below pictured turntable from Value Village. It needs a new belt, cartridge and headshell. But I figured, for $15 it would be a great starting table for my cousin. My question, however, is twofold. As there is not much info online about the able itself, I was wondering if anyone knew what size belt I would need for this table. In addition, I was wondering what type of headshell/cart I would put on this tonearm. The connection port is unlike anything that I have seen before in that it does not have the traditional scew wheel on the tonearm that secures the headshell to the tone arm. Does this tonearm require some sort of top-mounting headshell? Or is the tone arm missing a piece? Let me know what you think!!

From a bit of research - this is a Toshiba (or Aurex made them for Toshiba) - so there's more info on the Toshiba branded ones.

Belt: Flat Belt Medium' Width =.187"(3/16") to .203"(13/64") (4.8-5.2mm) FBM 25.0"(63.5cm)

Also your pictures didn't come through so hard to tell exactly what you're talking about with the head shell.
 
Aurex is Toshiba's brand in the home market (and perhaps elsewhere in the world ex-US... I don't know).

EDIT: The OP's links appear to be email attachments in gmail.
You can either copy the image and paste it directly into AK (if the image isn't too large), or download the image and then upload it to AK (using the "upload a file" button) or upload it to an image hosting service like Flikr and then use the hosting service's tools (or link) to hotlink the file into a post.

Yes that's the one! So if I were to buy another cartridge I wonder if that small screw would come with it or if that is a missing piece from the turntable.

May be tough to find another one. You're missing the screw? Might just see if you can find a small screw to fit in there and hold it tight. May just need to browse straight tonearm head shell listings to find what you need.
