Auto return issue

Jon²

Bork, bork, bork!
It's more of a problem with the record itself, but I'll ask anyway..

I picked up a 7" single today, and side A is fine, but side B has a problem:
The lead-out is too far in for my turntable's auto return function, meaning this: the tone arm up and leaves before the last song on side B is finished (misses about 30 seconds of song). :tears:

My question is, is there a way I can 'disable' the auto return function, or am I pretty much screwed?

Table is a Hitachi HT-2 (dd if that makes a difference)

Thanks in adance!

Hey Jon Jon. How did you get the exponent in your handle?

Not disable, but rather you can adjust the position so it occurs farther toward the spindle. There's usually an adjustment screw inside a hole near the base of the tonearm, or sometimes under the platter, or sometimes on the underside of the base.

Thank you! Adjusted and it works.
