Autocorrect strikes again or is "Noodles" DJ Slang

Back in the olden days of long ago, a phono stylus was commonly referred to as a needle. In fact cactus needles were the original Edison stylus.

The stylus is the replaceable part of a phonograph cartridge. In a $100 cartridge back in the day, a replacement stylus might be $10 to $50. The cartridge (body) is the most valuable part and can last many years.

To go into a turntable, the cartridge has to be mounted in a headshell. One is usually provided with the a turntable or tonearm; additional ones could cost from $10 to hundreds depending on brand.

The seller is offering two headshells presumably with cartridges which presumably have styli (needles). $150 might be reasonable depending on the particular cartridges and the condition of the styli.

This looks like autocorrect to me.

Ask your grandpa to explain all this to you, then carburetors.

Headshots included? Those would certainly screw up yer noodle!

They are listed under the DJ Equipment so I thought maybe Noodles could be DJ Slang but as they seem to be resting on the Noodles I'm not sure they have a clue what they're trying to sell.
Wasn't "Noodles on a Headshell" a novel by Kilgore Trout :)

Upgrade your brain to a brane, and you'll be able to wrap it around most anything, whether you want to or not.

Somebody here likely bought the tables that those were stolen from at the thrift. I have one right now.

Noodles are simply very high compliance needles. They sound best with wet playing of records.
